My Favorite Place

This week we've been talking about favorite things, but have you ever stopped to think about your most favorite place in the whole world?  This assignment will get you thinking...

1. Create a list of favorite places.
2. Choose one of them.
3. Use the Mapping a Childhood Place graphic organizer to brainstorm about this place.
4. Make a rough sketch of this place.

 




5. Think about all the special things and the details this place has.
6. Add these details to your map.
7. When you think you have roughly sketched your favorite place, take a fresh piece of white paper and draw a final sketch of your map.
8. Add color.
9. Add labels.

              

10. Write a description of your place.

Then, share your favorite place map! :)
